How to Match a Mission Name Across Guides and Patches

Work order / direct answer

Record the mission title exactly as your game displays it, then compare the location, active objective and story stage. A shared location or a similar translated name is not enough to merge two jobs. Keep the on-screen name in any bug report and add the guide's alternate name separately.

Build an identity record

Use the mission checklist to record the displayed title and current objective. Add your game language, installed build, location and the last completed stage. A screenshot of the objective is more useful than trying to remember a translated title.

  1. Copy the complete mission name, including any subtitle.
  2. Record the physical location and a distinctive objective or collectible landmark.
  3. Record the language and installed build so another player can compare the same context.

Fire-station names are not interchangeable by default

Official Update 4 uses It’s getting hot there. Community trophy reports use Things Are Heating Up for a fire-station stage. A Burning Issue also appears separately in community job lists. These observations do not establish that all three are one current-build mission; do not use a matching building alone as proof.

The mansion naming example

Community sources use Dirty Job for the mansion, while official save-fix notes name Dirty Business. This site groups the associated mansion material with an explicit source-based naming note. That is not a claim to have extracted and compared every current localized string.

When the match fails

If the objective or story stage differs, stop borrowing the other job's action order. Look up the specific symptom instead, or use the official patch history by system. Do not force a code or collectible instruction from another location into the current task.
