Player-house occlusion — visibility change explained

Work order / direct answer

Update 6 records improved occlusion in the player's house. Treat an object vanishing only from a particular viewpoint as a visibility symptom to investigate, not immediate proof that an inventory item or completed renovation has been deleted.

What this change establishes

The official entry dated 2026-09-21 names home occlusion but gives no object-by-object list or user-adjustable repair command. Occlusion concerns what is drawn from the camera's position; the note does not say that it restores missing purchases or resets objectives.

Compare the same room

Before moving furniture, take two images of the affected surface from different angles. Note whether it reappears when you move, whether its interaction prompt remains and whether the related objective still counts. These observations help separate a rendering fault from an absent saved object; they are diagnostic checks, not a promised workaround.

Choose the right symptom record

If a purchased item is absent after loading regardless of viewpoint, use the purchased-item persistence guide. If a church mirror disappears after driving away or garage ceiling parts vanish during entry, use those separate location-specific records. They were listed independently in the same announcement.

If it recurs

Record the house room, camera position, graphics settings and installed build. Preserve the save before dismantling the affected object. A newer patch announcement does not prove your individual room has been retested.
