Fuses — use, checks & patch context

Work order / direct answer

Distinguish inserting a fuse, removing it and getting the objective to recognize the action. Each can fail at a different stage.

Match the task

Distinguish inserting a fuse, removing it and getting the objective to recognize the action. Each can fail at a different stage.

Behavior to distinguish

Check whether the fuse can be selected, whether the target offers an insertion prompt and whether the object actually enters the slot. If insertion works but the objective stays incomplete, record that as a recognition problem instead. Distinguish an attached fuse that cannot be interacted with from one that is removed successfully but does not tick the task. Record the active objective, removal prompt and whether the problem started only after loading. Identify the exact fuse and whether insertion, removal or objective recognition is failing. Confirm which fuse the objective names; distinguish a missing prompt from a missing completion tick. Check whether the stage itself is missing, rather than a visible fuse refusing interaction.

Update 6: The fuse is removed but its objective remains open. Update 6: The fuse-related stage is absent in One More Time.
